Psychiatric Treatment & Care
Kolbe Clinic provides psychiatric care for patients suffering from a variety of mental health disorders and also suffering from substance use disorders (SUD). It is important that if you have a diagnosis of SUD you work with a psychiatrist that is sensitive to the effects that controlled substances have on you and treat your issues.
The treatment of SUD is all we do, our psychiatrists are excellent at treating mental health disorder with the understanding that our patients suffer from conditions which make the treatment of these disorders with controlled substances dangerous for their overall care. We are looking for stability with our patients, and our psychiatrists are trained to consider SUD in all aspects of care.
“We are working diligently to provide psychiatric services to underserved rural areas through tele-psych services.”
If you are dealing with drug or alcohol abuse, you understand that addiction can hold a strong grip on your life and affect those closest to you. According to The National Institute on Drug Abuse, over 70,000 American adults died of a drug overdose in 2019 — and many thousands more struggle with addiction daily.
An inpatient or outpatient psychiatric treatment program that combines a researched-backed medication protocol with counseling is ideal for many patients who hope to recover from addiction. At Kolbe Clinic, we offer full-service psychiatric addiction treatments for our patients. Read through the services we offer and contact us with any questions.
Psychiatric Treatments
People turn to drugs and alcohol for various reasons. When you have an addiction, it's crucial to address the underlying causes to prevent relapse. You may have a dual diagnosis of depression, anxiety, or ADHD, or perhaps you are struggling to heal from a traumatic childhood. Perhaps you started drinking after a bad breakup and are realizing that quitting isn't as easy as you thought it would be - and you're now concerned that you've inherited the alcoholism you've seen in your other family members. It's important to address the underlying causes or the "why" of the addiction while you treat it with medication or detox protocols. Work with our licensed counselors and participate in group sessions to better understand yourself and connect with others who are experiencing the same situation as you are.
Drug Addiction Treatments
Whether you have completed a short inpatient hospital stay to detox from your drug of choice or you wish to speak to us about detox options. We offer several options for drug addiction treatment, including the following:
- Working closely with a psychiatrist to use Suboxone or Vivitrol to wean off opioids safely
