Clinical Director

Miranda New, LICSW, PIP is the Director of Clinical Services for Kolbe Clinic.  She graduated with her master’s in social work (MSW) from the University of Alabama where she received the Master’s Scholar Award.  Miranda has worked in medication assisted treatment since 2018.  She joined the Kolbe Clinic in 2021.  She works at the various Kolbe Clinics throughout the state, but her primary location is the Birmingham office.  Miranda has varied interests and expertise in the field of social work.  She is a Certified Autplay therapist, and Certified Happiness Coach.  She has many passions, but her biggest passion is for serving individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders. In her spare time, Miranda enjoys blogging, playing the piano, and spending time with her husband.
